Blush Amour

Dusky Pinky Peach Colour

A lovely belated birthday present I received from a very dear friend!
We were in Selfridges and she made me pick something I wanted!
Ahh, how I couldn't resist asking for a Nars blush ^_^

I made my friend try this on as I was wearing blush already and it looked lovely on her!
I love that it is a matt finish and that it is pink, but a subtle pink.

I already own 'Gina' which is a orangey peach colour, it is the only blush I have hit the pan on.

  3. Ooo this is not a good post for me to be reading! I'm trying to put myself on a make up ban for the month. Clearly see that flying out the window! Such a beaut of a colour. My next buy most probs! :P

Have you seen Nars- Sin? A bit of a bold colour, but i think if applied with a light hand, it'll actually look really good. & Oh Chanel blushes! They are pretty overpriced, But longevity and pigmentation is amazing!

Ps: i do love your posts, keep them coming :) Love & Du'as xxx

    1. Haha! Sorryyyy! :P
I haven't tried Sin, I just had a look at a few swatches online... I have a fair amount of M.A.C blushes that have shimmer which is why I am trying to steer more towards the matt finish blushes now.
But the colour of sin is gorgeous!! masha'allah... This may be my next shimmery blush ^_^

Ooh, I've never had a look at chanel blushes, but i'm too scared to even look at them because I know they will be too expensive! lol

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoy them!
Lots of love and Dua's coming your way too!

  4. I have worn this one blush from Clinique forever, but I am looking for something new. I have been reading about Nars blushes and this one looks great. I don't want anything that has glitter. I'm looking for something that is subtle and has a matte natural looking finish. Will definitely look for this. Thanks for sharing :)

    1. When I started to wear make up, as all girlies do... I experimented with my mums! Clinique was one of the blushes she had and I remember liking it very much! I have never actually gone to the Clinique counter.. I don't know why it doesn't draw me to it!

I would definitely recommend Nars blushes... I have about 5 M.A.C blushes and the one Gina Nars blush and I use my Nars one all the time.
Gina may look scary in the pot but when on the skin especially on medium skin tone it is so subtle and lovely! I'm sure you will love it! It has a matt finish too and lasts a good time.

This one is matt too and I'm sure it's going to be just as lovely can't compare it yet as I haven't tried it on myself yet!

      Your welcome! ^_^

    2. Have you ever tried using cream blushes? I've been wondering how those are.

    3. I do have a M.A.C cream blush called 'Posey'.
It is a lovely colour but the application takes some getting use to...
Also it doesn't last very long on it's own... To make it last longer you could pair it with another blusher on top.

However, for simple day make up... I think it works well on its own.. gives you a little flush of colour and has a bit of a dewiness to it rather than being powdery if that makes sense?

      Hope this helped :)

I haven't purchased another cream blush after that mind you... I guess it's what you like working with?

    1. Ahh.. you know I pretty much am self taught on make up and a lot of tips on how to apply make up I have got from youtube.
The most simple way for me to explain how to apply blusher that doesn't look harsh would be to build it up. By that I mean to lightly put the blusher on to your brush and then blend it out onto your cheeks.
People put the blusher in different places... along the cheek bones or on the apples of cheek.. and I feel thats dependant on your face shape and what look you are going for.

      I hope this helps :)

p.s. Would you like to know my recommended youtube gurus? That I love watching and have got a lot of my tips from?

    2. **building up would be to apply little bit by bit until you are happy with the way it looks..
rather than getting a lot onto the brush in one go and finding it difficult to blend out.

    1. I don't feel my skin is all that amazing to be honest! It's probably my foundation that makes it looks like it is in the photos.. ( I use M.A.C studio fix fluid in NC42)

I have posted some products I use in my previous posts... like my moistrizer for example which is here:
